Laughing Hyenas - Merry Go Round (1987)


The first Laughing Hyenas album, plus bonus tracks. If you know John Brannon from Negative Approach, you may recognize his voice, but this is far from hardcore. Well, maybe not far, but it's different, that's for sure. Post-hardcore heavy noise rock might be a decent description, but really you just need to hear it. I'll take Laughing Hyenas over NA any day - and Easy Action (another Brannon fronted band) too, for that matter. Play loud.
