What do you call a band like Heavy Metal Kids? "Heavy metal" is in the name, but that's stretching it (especially since in 1974 the term hadn't even come to mean what it does now; the band's name is actually a William Burroughs reference). Glam? Proto-punk? Whatever, it's awesome. This is their first album, a sadly overlooked piece of rock history.
