The first of two consecutive live albums for The Cramps, Smell Of Female was recorded live in New York at the Peppermint Lounge. The eight song set is followed up with the studio track, "Surfin' Dead", which was made famous by its use in the film Return Of The Living Dead shortly thereafter.
