Three more from The Stranglers today. Rattus Norvegicus, their debut. Black And White, perhaps their finest hour. And finally The Raven, which marks the beginning of a new direction for the band. Much, if not all, of the punk aggression fades after these records, although I can't speak for The Gospel According To The Meninblack, which I haven't heard. In any case, by the time La Folie comes around the band really seems to be aiming at something entirely different.
