After the release of a few solo albums, Robyn Hitchcock reunites with previous band-mates Andy Metcalfe and Morris Windsor for Fegmania. For better or worse though, this is not a Soft Boys record. Still, it's certainly more straight-forward rock and pop oriented than his last couple LPs, and all the better for it. I'm the type that would have loved to hear something as rocking as A Can Of Bees or Underwater Moonlight from these boys again, but Fegmania holds up well and is nevertheless a great album worth revisiting.
