And now for something from the complete opposite end of the musical spectrum. I don't really know what to say about Real Reggae, except that they were from Japan, that despite their name they only occasionally broke into anything that could be accurately described as reggae on this compilation, and that - apparently - they enjoyed marijuana. Mostly, it's an amalgam of fastcore, thrashcore, grind, and good old punk and hardcore. Can grind be catchy? It seems it can, at least when it's done by this obscure group of Asians. Even if you're not normally a fan of this kind of thing, I recommend giving this one a chance. Before recently, I hadn't listened to it in years. It holds up extremely well, and I'm surprised they never made a bigger name for themselves here in the states.
