Knifedance - Wolf Hour (1989)

A unique Cleveland band that split the difference between punk, rock, and crossover thrash, Knifedance was formed by ex-members of Easter Monkeys and The Dark in 1984. Wolf Hour is their only full length release, although I understand there were tracks recorded for a follow-up that, for whatever reason, never saw the light of day. That's a real shame, because this record, at least, packs quite a punch. I'm at a loss on drawing comparisons (as is often the case when discussing something wholly original and interesting), so just take the plunge and hear it for yourself. (No luck on finding a preview.
