Antidote - Thou Shalt Not Kill (1983)

An early and important EP in New York hardcore history, there were only a thousand copies of the original Thou Shalt Not Kill vinyl. It was not pressed again for another twenty years. Thankfully, the fine folks at Hellbent records finally got around to reissuing a CD version in 2004 (this post is ripped from their disc). Take it from me, the notorious nature of these eight raging tracks, clocking in at a mere ten minutes, is justified. Apparently, Antidote reunited for a follow up in 1990, but I haven't had the pleasure of hearing it.

  1. Thanks for this -- there can't be too many HxC records from this era this good which I didn't buy at the time. I'll have to try to get that CD!
