Denial Fiend - Horror Holocaust (2011)

Speaking of prolific careers, today's spotlight is on Blaine Cook. The two are near polar opposites as far as punk front men go, but I'm a good deal more familiar with his work than I am Billy Childish's. Here's three thrashy selections from the man's lengthy discography: The Accused's third classic LP, Martha Splatterhead's Maddest Stories Ever Told. Injustice, the first and only album of new and original material from 2002's formidable Fartz lineup (2000's What's In A Name? consists of re-recordings of the band's eighties material). And finally, Cook's first stab at fronting the Florida thrash/death metal supergroup Denial Fiend, dating back to just last year. (About that last one, I don't intend to make a habit of posting such recent recordings. Please buy it if you like it.)

  1. Great record. I've posted some of Blaine's other bands (The Black Nasty and Toe Tag) on my blog http://melonvillehc.blogspot.ca/

    1. I grabbed both from you earlier! I think I may have left a comment on your Black Nasty post.
