The Diodes - Tired Of Waking Up Tired: The Best Of The Diodes (1977-1979)

Canadian punk rockers from the first wave, The Diodes were often credited as the Ramones of the north. I don't know that I would necessarily agree with that assessment, but it does nevertheless seem to me the common sentiment. This collection gathers together the entirety of their first two LPs, as well as several previously unreleased recordings. It's a stellar set. They would go on to release two more albums in the early eighties before calling it quits (until their 2010 reunion, that is).
