You may have been lead to believe that you shouldn't like this album, due to the departure of notorious front man Shane MacGowan. I call bullshit on that. Waiting For Herb is great on its own merits and is an unfairly ignored chapter of the Pogues legacy. Don't believe the hype. It might not be quite as essential as their earlier material, but it's a nice selection of tracks nonetheless.
