The Consumers - All My Friends Are Dead (1977)

There's very little documentation out there on The Consumers (at least that I've seen), but these recordings are absolutely blistering. It's hard to imagine these songs being recorded in '77, but then maybe they weren't. That's the only year mentioned in the minimal liner notes, and it's mentioned as the year The Consumers formed - not recorded. In any case, by 1983 Paul Cutler was re-recording no less than six of these tracks with the then newly founded 45 Grave on the Autopsy LP. That's a great album in itself, but I prefer these versions.
