Tenpole Tudor released two pretty great albums in 1981. This is the first. Infectious, catchy rock and roll with less punk tendencies than I'd expected from the band of a guy apparently considered as a replacement for John Lydon in the Sex Pistols before they split entirely. It's an inspired and addictive pub rock record from a group of guys sometimes known for less than serious stage antics, often performing in medieval suits of armor.
