Swing Kids only existed for a brief period of time, and this discography attests to that. Nine songs in twenty minutes. Influential on a scene that I'm not always particularly fond of, this still rocks pretty hard. Justin Pearson went on to front The Locust, play bass with Some Girls, and become otherwise involved with a ton of other projects. The preview below is their cover of Joy Division's "Warsaw." I know it's sacrilege, but I prefer the Swing Kids version.

I remember being blown away when I first heard the Swing Kids EP back in the '90s. I don't know if I would say either version of "Warsaw" is better than the other, but this cover is destroys!
