I've only recently discovered Zounds, and I'm really taken aback at how great these recordings are. They were part of the anarchopunk movement, but unlike label mates Crass and Flux of Pink Indians, Zounds took a decidedly poppier approach. Somewhere along the lines of a punkier Gang of Four.
