Incomparable post-punk from Cleveland. Easter Monkeys only recorded a handful of tracks, all of which Smog Veil records collect here. These are the original mixes, as opposed to the questionably mixed versions in the early nineties edition. Features guitarist Jim Jones, previously of the Electric Eels and the Styrenes, and later of Pere Ubu.

The Easter Monkeys bassist later went on to join Knifedance and I believe Mike Hudsons'(Pagans)sister played drums on this record. Anyhow stoked on your blog and for posting Clevo music!!!

Much respect to the late great Jim Jones, with whom I used to correspond when he ran Ubuprojex, and Frank at Smog Veil (I bought it there). It must be lost in my collection somewhere...
