Crucifix - Dehumanization (1983)

Crucifix were a California band with a Cambodian-born vocalist. Often referred to as anarcho-punk or d-beat, it just sounds like good old hardcore to me. This was their only full-length, and it's a total classic. It's been almost thirty years since this record hit the streets and Dehumanization still hits like a freight train. In your face from start to finish, and no opportunity to come up for air. That's as it should be. A personal favorite.

  1. Totally agree with your choice. And yes, after 30 years it still hits you like a freight train. Brilliant.
