Jet - Jet (1975)

I'd imagine this would be common sense considering the other music I've posted, but just to be clear, this is not the shit band from the early 2000s. These guys formed in London in 1974. I guess you might call it glam. In any case, four fifths of Jet became the punkier Chiswick band Radio Stars. I finally got my hands on the 2010 CD reissue - or, first issue, to be more accurate. The original album was never officially released.

    1. The way I understood it, it was scheduled to be released in '75, but was shelved by the record company. There are old vinyl copies of it floating around, but I believe they're all unofficial. I could be wrong though, I've only heard all of this secondhand.

  4. Nice to see some interest for Jet and Radio Stars. A friend of mine and myself bought the rights to release the Jet album from Martin Gordon in 2000 and released it as a cd, together with another album worth of demos and live recordings. We also arranged the Jet/Radio Stars mini-tour which also resulted in a live album. For more info or live recordings of Jet and Radio Stars, please contact me at maels@xs4all.nl.

    Best wishes,
